About Ogamiyama Shrine

The mountain where the great deity resides was once called “Ogamino-take.”
In ancient times, people revered Mt. Daisen by this name.
At the heart of this long-standing mountain faith stands Ogamiyama Shrine, whose tradition has continued unbroken since antiquity.
Even today, local people revere the divine blessings of Mt. Daisen with deep respect and affection, often saying, “It’s thanks to Daisen-san.”
Visit both the Main Shrine at the foot of the mountain and the Okumiya on Mt. Daisen, and receive the blessings of “Daisen-san.”
